These release notes describe the new features, improvements, and fixed issues in NetFlow Traffic Analyzer 4.1. They also provide information about upgrades and describe workarounds for known issues.

New features and improvements in NTA 4.1
NTA 4.1 offers new features and improvements compared to previous releases of NTA.
- Improved sampling rate recognition and the option to manually override detected sampling rate
- Improved ToS classification
- Support for MS SQL 2014
- Orion Web Console Improvements:
- Support for Drag&drop of resources
- NOC view support
- Integration of UDT resources on NTA views
- End of support for classic charts
- End of support for 32-bit operating systems
NTA 4.1 fixes the following issues.

|Upgrading a remote NTA Flow Storage Database to NTA 4.1 first might cause upgrade issues if your main poller is not running NPM 11.0 or newer.
Warning: Make sure you upgrade NPM to version 11.0 or newer before you start upgrading NTA to 4.1.
|Database maintenance fails to remove some NTA Flow Storage Database partitions after the retention period.||N/A|

December 10, 2013:
End-of-Life (EoL) announcement – Customers on SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer version 3.9 or older should begin transitioning to SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer version 4.0.
March 10, 2014:
End-of-Engineering (EoE) – Service releases, bug fixes, workaround, and service packs for SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer version 3.9 or older will no longer actively be supported by SolarWinds.
March 10, 2015:
End-of-Life– SolarWinds will no longer provide technical support for SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer version 3.9 or older.
