Monitoring network performance is a key capability of SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted (formerly Hybrid Cloud Observability) and is available in the Essentials edition. Network Performance Monitor (NPM) is also available in a standalone module.

Top Nodes by Current Response Time

This widget lists the top XX nodes by current response time.

Display node details view

Click a node in the list.

Display the chart for a metric

Click a metric to open the custom chart for the metric.

Change the title, maximum number of items, or filter the displayed objects

  1. Click Edit.
  2. Customize the title or subtitle.
  3. Enter the Maximum number of items to display.
  4. To limit the displayed list of items, enter a SQL query into the Filter field. For example filters, see Filter nodes in SolarWinds Platform widgets using SQL queries.
  5. Click Submit to apply your changes.
