Manage RSA Authentication Manager with Mobile Admin
This section provides information about how to use the Mobile Admin Client to manage the RSA Authentication Manager server.
All procedures in this chapter assume that you are logged in to Mobile Admin and that you have selected a server that hosts RSA Authentication Manager from you Manage Hosts list, or selected the RSA Authentication Manager service from the Manage Services list. The RSA ACE Server screen will appear.
Detection
RSA Authentication Manager is found if a service named "acesrvc" is found on a server
Authentication
Your Mobile Admin login credentials are used to manage RSA Authentication Manager.
Communication method
RSA Authentication Manager uses the TCL command language.
Manage RSA users and tokens
You can manage RSA SecurID users and tokens with Mobile Admin for the server you have selected.
Search for a user
- From a view of the the RSA ACE Server screen, enter a user login name in the Login field, or enter a token serial number in the Token Serial field.
- On the menu, click Find User.
- Select the user for whom you wish to view more information.
View token information
- Follow the procedure to search for a user and select the user you want to view token information for.
- On the menu, click Tokens.
- Select the token that you want to view details for.
Enable or Disable a token
- Follow the procedure to search for a user and select the user you want to enable or disable a token for.
- On the menu, click Tokens.
- Select the token you wish to enable or disable.
- Do one of the following:
- If you want to enable the token, select the Enabled option.
- If you want to disable the token, select the Disabled option.
- Click Save on the menu or on the screen associated with the selected Token.
Resetan RSA SecurID token into new PIN mode
You can reset the RSA SecurID token to New PIN mode for a specific user with Mobile Admin. When you reset a token to New PIN mode, the user will be required to set a new PIN the next time they try to log in using their RSA SecurID token.
- Follow the procedure to search for a user and select the user for whom you with the reset the RSA SecurID token.
- On the menu, click Tokens and select the token for which you want to edit details.
- Select the New PIN Mode option.
- On the menu, click Save.
