New features and improvements in KSS
KSS 9.6.6 offers new features and improvements compared to previous releases of KSS.
Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) support for SNMP v3
Sending data with the latest AES-256 encryption is now supported for SNMP v3. This allows for the highest encryption standard possible for sending your electronic data with Kiwi Syslog Server 9.6.6.
Microsoft SQL Server Compact v4.0 support in Kiwi Web Access
With Kiwi Syslog Server 9.6.6, you can upgrade your MS SQL Server Compact to version 4.0 and higher. By upgrading to MS SQL Server Compact 4.0 from the now end-of-life MS SQL Server Compact 3.5, the MS SQL server passes vulnerability security scans.
Other improvements
This release includes the latest Management Information Base (MIB) updates.

End of support
This version of Kiwi Syslog Server no longer supports the following platforms and features.

SQL Server 2012 | Future versions of Kiwi Syslog Server will not support this platform. |
Although you can install Kiwi Syslog Server products on Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2 and Microsoft SQL Server 2012, mainstream support for these versions is ending and they will not be supported on future versions of the Kiwi Syslog Server. SolarWinds strongly recommends that you upgrade to Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or later and Microsoft SQL Server 2016, 2017 or later at your earliest convenience.
