Kiwi Syslog Server 9.6/9.6.1 Release Notes

These release notes describe the new features, improvements, and fixed issues in this release.
New features and improvements
Cleanup of older messages logged to a database
The Log to Database action now includes an option to clean up the database by deleting older messages. Messages older than the specified number of days are automatically removed.
Performance improvements
Performance has been improved for the following types of messages:
- UDP
- TCP
- SNMP traps
Fixed issues
Kiwi Syslog Server 9.6 fixes the following issue:

| 870092, 907244, 916147, 916176, 921433 | SNMP traps are now forwarded without changes. In previous versions, the SNMP trap was converted to a string and forwarded as a syslog messages, which could result in MAC addresses being displayed incorrectly. |
