Create a system status report
The System Status report displays details about ipMonitor and the server hosting the application. Print out this report before you contact SolarWinds Technical Support team to troubleshoot an issue with ipMonitor or the host server.
- Click Reports in the toolbar.

Under System Reports, click System Status.
The report displays on your screen.
The following illustration is an example of a system status report.
Monitoring services information
Label | Description |
---|---|
Version | The ipMonitor version and build number. |
Uptime | The ipMonitor server total running time. |
CPU Utilization | The total processor time used by the IpMonitor Service since it was started. |
Time Zone | The time zone where the server hosting ipMonitor is located. |
Reporting services information
Label | Description |

Version | The ipMonitor major version and build number. |
Connected | The current ipMonitor Report Service connection state. |
Uptime | The ipMonitor Report Service total running time. |
CPU Utilization | The total processor time used by the ipMonitor Report Service since it was started. |
Last Report | The date and time when the ipMonitor Report Service generated the last report. |
Time Taken | The length of time required for the ipMonitor Report Service to generate the last report. |
Records Seen | The number of data records gathered when generating the last report. |
System information
Label | Definition |

OS | The current operating system and service pack level detected on the host server. |
OS Version | The operating system version and build number detected on the host server. |
Processor Type | The processor type detected on the host server. |
Processor Speed | The processor speed detected on the host server. |
Processors Active | The number of processors detected on the host server. |
MDAC | The Microsoft Data Access Components version currently installed on the host server. |
System Vitals
Label | Description |

Physical Memory |
The amount of physical memory installed on the host server. Gray bars indicate available memory. Green bars indicated allocated physical memory on the server. When available memory reaches 10% or less, the available memory color changes from green to red. |
Commit Charge Memory |
The amount of virtual memory on the host server. Gray bars indicate available memory. Green bars indicate allocated physical memory. When available memory reaches 10% or less, the available memory color changes from green to red. |
Drive X |
The amount of drive space on the server hosting ipMonitor. The gray area indicates available drive space. The green area indicates allocated drive space. If the remaining available drive space is dangerously low, the used Drive Space area changes from green to red. |
