Default SmartGroups
A SmartGroup is a dynamic group that includes content determined by a filter you create. When you create a SmartGroup, the content automatically keeps track of changes in your network.
SmartGroups can include:
- All network devices located within a state
- All online monitors in your network
- All Cisco devices in your network
Below is an example of the default SmartGroups included with ipMonitor.
Access a SmartGroup

Log in to ipMonitor as an administrator.

Click Devices.

In the Groups menu, click Default SmartGroups.
