Retrieve an OID using SNMP Search
The SNMP Search tool retrieves a specific object identifier (OID) from a MIB database. You can search the MIB database by specifying a substring or regular expression. This feature allows you to search for characters or strings that form part or all of the OID's Abstract Syntax Notation One (ASN.1) notation identifier.
See the Regular Expression Wizard in the Configuration tab > Tools menu for assistance with building a regular expression.
- Click Configuration in the toolbar.
- In the Tools menu, click SNMP Search.
-
In the Case-Insensitive Regex Pattern field, enter a case-sensitive RegEx pattern. For example,
sys
