Purchase and view an ipMonitor license

Contact SolarWinds Sales to purchase an ipMonitor license. You can use the online quote tool to estimate the purchase cost.

SolarWinds offers three license tiers for ipMonitor:

IPM500 500
IPM1000 1000
IPM2500 2500

When your purchase is completed, the license will be available in the Customer Portal.

You will need your SolarWinds Customer ID and password provided by SolarWinds Sales to access the Customer Portal. If you did not receive this information after your purchase, submit a ticket to Customer Support.

  1. Log in to the Customer Portal using your SolarWinds ID (SWID) and password.

  2. Click Licenses > Manage Licenses.

    All SolarWinds licenses are listed by product name.

When you are ready, activate the license.

Migrating an ipMonitor host system

If you migrate the host system while running ipMonitor as an evaluation, the 500-monitor limit is in effect, and some monitors may appear missing or inactive. This issue can occur when migrating a system with an unlimited license before you apply the license. To resolve this issue, apply the license key.
