Configure My Settings
After an administrator adds your user account, you can update your standard ipMonitor account password, if required. You can also update your display settings for the Details View and NOC Status view options in the Devices tab. After you make your selections, click Save.
Update your password
The Identification section displays your account type and user name and password. The administrator assigns each user a user name, which cannot be changed. If you have a standard ipMonitor account, you can change the password when needed. When you are finished, click Save.
Update your display settings
When you log in to ipMonitor, the application opens the Configuration tab by default. You can change the default display by clicking the Start Page drop-down menu and select another option.
The Devices tab provides access to the Details, Map, Dashboard, and NOC views that allow you to classify, organize, and view the status of the devices and monitors in your network.
You can determine the resources and statistics that display in the Details and NOC views by clicking Show All. This will maximize the Details View and NOC Status View windows so you can choose the display settings for these views.
Configure the Details View
By default, ipMonitor displays eight columns in the Details view. You can add additional columns by clicking Add Column.
Refresh Delay
ipMonitor refreshes the My Network view based on the Refresh Delay setting. The default setting is one minute. To change the refresh rate, enter a new value in the Refresh Delay field.
Sound if failures are showing
When the audible alarm is enabled, ipMonitor plays the selected found file when a monitor enters a warning state. Click the drop-down menu to select a sound file, and then click Test to verify the selected sound. The default setting is No Sound.
Row Filter
Use this setting to select the monitors that display in the Details View screen. The default setting is no filters. When you are finished, click Save.
Configure the NOC Status View
By default, ipMonitor displays five fields in the Network Operations Center (NOC) Status view. You can add additional fields by clicking Add Field.
Refresh Delay
Similar to the Details View settings, ipMonitor refreshes the NOC Status view based on the Refresh Delay setting. To change the refresh rate, enter a new value in the Refresh Delay field.

Cell width and height
Cell width and cell height determine the available space in the monitor element. These settings control how many data elements display in the view. The default cell width and cell height settings are 25% and 100 pixels, respectively.
