Managing IP addresses is a key capability of SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted (formerly Hybrid Cloud Observability) and is available in the Essentials edition. IP Address Manager (IPAM) is also available in a standalone module.

IPAM 2022.4.1 release notes

Release date: December 14, 2022

These release notes describe the new features, improvements, and fixed issues in IP Address Manager 2022.4.1. They also provide information about upgrades and describe workarounds for known issues.

New features and improvements in IPAM

IPAM 2022.4.1 is a service release and contains no new features.

IPAM 2022.4.1 is built on the new IPAM and installed with the new SolarWinds Installer.

Installation and upgrade

If you are on a version earlier than IPAM 2020.2.6, first upgrade to 2020.2.6 and then upgrade to 2022.4.1. Before upgrading, see Considerations for upgrading from the Orion Platform to the SolarWinds Platform.

For information about installing IP Address Manager, see help for the SolarWinds Installer, and refer to the IPAM Getting Started Guide to learn about configuring and customizing IPAM.

Use the SolarWinds Installer to upgrade your entire IPAM deployment (all IPAM products and any scalability engines).

End of life

For modules based on IPAM 2020.2.6 and earlier, SolarWinds is announcing future end-of-life plans for your convenience. As always, SolarWinds recommends you upgrade to the latest version of your products at your earliest convenience.
