Log in to the SolarWinds Platform Web Console to use Engineer's Toolset for the Web

Engineer's Toolset for the Web is an SolarWinds Platform product. As with all SolarWinds Platform products, you'll use it by first logging in to the SolarWinds Platform Web Console.

In a web browser, navigate to [http://hostnameOrIPAddress:port] where:

• hostnameOrIPAddress is the hostname or IP address of the SolarWinds Platform server where Engineer's Toolset for the Web is installed.
• port is the SolarWinds Platform Web Console port defined for the website. This is configurable during installation. The default port is 8787.

You'll see the SolarWinds Platform server log in page:

You can log in as the default admin with no password. Later, you'll want to update the Admin account's password and create users and groups, each with their own specialized views and permissions.
