Stop monitoring NetFlow data from a device
If you do not want to monitor flow traffic on a device, you have the following options:
- Configure the device to stop sending flow data on interfaces.
- Keep the flow export as is, but configure the device not to send flows to any pollers.
You can also keep exporting flow data, but disable polling the data for the device. For more information, see Disable flow sources and CBQoS-enabled devices .
Requirements
- You have defined the device whose configuration you are going to change. For more information, see Choose the NetFlow traffic source.
Stop NetFlow export on interfaces
- On the Configure Source page, go to the Interfaces table.
- Clear Send Ingress Data and Send Egress Data for all interfaces.
- Select I Understand.
- Click Configure Now to apply your changes to the
running-config
file on the device.
Stop sending exported flow data to a NTA poller
- On the Configure Source page, go to the Send Flows To section.
- Clear all boxes for Device 1 and Device 2.
- Select I Understand.
- Click Configure Now to apply your changes to the
running-config
file on the device. - Confirm the error message informing you that flows will not be collected on any poller, and NTA will not be able to display the appropriate flow data.
