ipMonitor 11.1.1 release notes

These release notes describe the new features, improvements, and fixed issues in ipMonitor 11.1 Service Release 1 (11.1.1). They also provide information about upgrades and describe workarounds for known issues.

New features and improvements

ipMonitor 11.1.1 offers new features and improvements compared to previous releases.

New digital code-signing certificate

ipMonitor 11.1.1 is signed with a new digital code-signing certificate.

Updated Getting Started interface

The Getting Started window now includes a redesigned user interface. This window displays when the installation is completed, and allows you to select the hardware and software components you want to monitor.

Updated dashboard widget

The Do more with ipMonitor widget now includes updated chart labels that provide improved at-a-glance status information about your monitored devices. Using the widget, you can identify the number of unmonitored devices in your deployment and determine the number of available monitors remaining in your license.

Before you upgrade!

If you are upgrading from a version prior to ipMonitor 10.9, upgrade to 10.9 first. When you are finished, run the installer included with this release to upgrade to ipMonitor 11.1.1.

How to upgrade

See the ipMonitor Installation and Upgrade Guide for instructions on how to plan, prepare, and perform the upgrade on your ipMonitor server.

After you complete the upgrade, you may need to clear your cache and refresh the ipMonitor web interface to display the Monitor Charts widget in the dashboard.
