Documentation forIpMonitor

Create and edit a report

ipMonitor includes customized reports that you create using a wizard. In addition to displaying response time, uptime, and downtime for specific time periods, you can create a customized report that leverages historical data to view long-term and short-term performance trends, identify problems, and report operational efficiency for each monitor and monitor group. For example, you can create a business report that reflects your business hours.

When you are finished, you can save the report to your My Reports list or create a report template.

The Add Report Wizard tests the selected customization options by previewing the appearance of the report before saving it. This allows you to create a report with the least amount of input.

  1. Click Reports in the toolbar.
  2. In the My Reports column, click Add New Report.
  3. Under Monitor Selection, select a mode.
  4. In the toolbar under Mode, select the appropriate monitor, group, or device, and click Next.
  5. Select the time and graph settings, and then click Next.
  6. Select the data options you want to include in the report, and then click Next.
  7. Enter a report name, comment, and display settings, and then click Create.
  8. Review the report settings you selected, and click OK.

The report displays under My Reports.
