Upgrade APEs, Additional Web Servers, and HA backup servers for WPM

To upgrade including Additional Polling Engines (APEs), Additional Web Servers, or High Availability (HA) backup servers, you can either:

• Use the SolarWinds Platform Installer.
• Click Settings > My Deployment to upgrade from within the SolarWinds Platform Web Console.

After upgrading WPM on the SolarWinds Platform server, be sure to update any WPM Recorders and WPM Players installed on remote systems. See Deploy WPM to remote systems in the WPM Getting Started Guide.

To move a WPM polling engine or the SolarWinds Platform database to a different server, see the SolarWinds Platform Migration Guide. Be sure to update SEUM agents to point to the new EngineIDs, as described here.
