Documentation forVoIP & Network Quality Manager
Monitoring VoIP and network quality is a key capability of Hybrid Cloud Observability and is also available in a standalone module, VoIP & Network Quality Manager (VNQM). Hybrid Cloud Observability and VNQM are built on the self-hosted SolarWinds Platform.

VNQM 2020.2 System Requirements

Release date: June 4, 2020

SolarWinds strongly recommends that you install the Orion Platform on a server that is neither public, nor internet-facing. To learn about best practices for configuring your Orion Platform installation securely, see Secure Configuration for the SolarWinds Platform.

Important: These system requirements define the minimum requirements for VoIP and Network Quality Manager 2020.2 as a single installed product. You may need to increase your requirements in small, medium, or large environments with multi-modules installed.

For additional information about requirements and configurations, see the Multi-module system guidelines. You should also review your product administration guides and release notes for the exact product requirements beyond these minimums.

Hardware and software requirements

You cannot install Orion Platform products on the same server as SolarWinds Access Rights Manager (ARM).
