These release notes describe the new features, improvements, and fixed issues in VoIP and Network Quality Manager 4.5.1. They also provide information about upgrades and describe workarounds for known issues.

Improvements in VNQM 4.5.1
VNQM 4.5.1 offers new features and improvements compared to previous releases of VNQM.
Support for Avaya Aura 7.1
VNQM now supports version 7.1 of the Avaya Aura® Communication Manager.
New customer installation
For information about installing VoIP and Network Quality Manager, see the SolarWinds Orion Installer.
How to upgrade
If you are upgrading from VNQM <Version> or later, use the SolarWinds Orion Installer to upgrade one or more Orion Platform products simultaneously.
If you are upgrade from an earlier version, use the following resources to plan and implement an upgrade to VNQM <Version>. Then use the SolarWinds Orion Installer to complete the upgrade.
- If you are upgrading VNQM and other modules (SAM, NCM, NTA, etc.), use the multiple products upgrade guide.
- If you are upgrading VNQM as a stand-alone product, use the single product upgrade guide.

Deprecation notices
This version of VoIP and Network Quality Manager deprecates the following platforms and features.
Deprecated platforms and features are still supported in the current release. However, they will be unsupported in a future release. Plan on upgrading deprecated platforms, and avoid using deprecated features. Customizations applied to a deprecated feature might not be migrated if a new feature replaces the deprecated one.
