VoIP and Network Quality Manager 2020.2.1 Release Notes

These release notes describe the fixed issues in VoIP and Network Quality Manager 2020.2.1. They also provide information about upgrades and describe workarounds for known issues.

VNQM 2020.2.1 fixes the following issues.

Issue when loading VNQM BL plugin no longer persists. The VNQM service starts on the Primary Polling Engine. VNQM and the Orion server are both stable.

00542218

VNQM no longer has issues rendering the VoIP Misconfigured Call Paths resource. The resource is no longer duplicated in the Orion Web Console.

00539939

Azure Security Center is no longer incorrectly triggering an alert about a vulnerable statement.
00524774 Regex is updated to match gateway names with two words. CDR information is being received properly.

How to upgrade

If you are upgrading from VNQM 4.4 or later, use the SolarWinds Orion Installer to upgrade your entire Orion deployment (all Orion Platform products and any scalability engines) to the current versions.

If you are upgrading from VNQM 4.6, you can upgrade your entire Orion deployment from the My Orion Deployment page. Downloading the Orion Installer is no longer necessary.

If you are upgrading from an earlier version, use this topic to plan and implement an upgrade to the current version of VNQM.

End-of-Life (EoL) announcement - Customers on VoIP & Network Quality Manager 4.2 should begin transitioning to the latest version of VoIP & Network Quality Manager.

March 4, 2019:

End-of-Engineering (EoE) - Service releases, bug fixes, workarounds, and service packs for VoIP & Network Quality Manager 4.2 will no longer be supported by SolarWinds.

March 4, 2020:

End-of-Life - SolarWinds will no longer provide technical support for VoIP & Network Quality Manager 4.2.
