VNQM 2019.4 offers the following new features and improvements compared to previous releases of VNQM.

Cisco Unified Communications Manager 12.5

Starting with version 2019.4, SolarWinds VNQM supports Cisco Communications Manager (CallManager) 12.5.

Security improvements: Communication with Cisco Unified Communications Manager via AXL

As of VNQM 2019.4, there is a change in communication through AXL between SolarWinds VNQM and Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager). The communication is performed using the CallManager's domain name in place of the IP address.

For information about installing VoIP and Network Quality Manager, see the SolarWinds Orion Installer.

How to upgrade

If you are upgrading from VNQM 4.41 or later, use the SolarWinds Orion Installer to upgrade your entire Orion deployment (all Orion Platform products and any scalability engines) to the current versions.

If you are upgrading from VNQM 4.62, you can upgrade your entire Orion deployment from the My Orion Deployment page. Downloading the Orion Installer is no longer necessary.

If you are upgrading from an earlier version, use this topic to plan and implement an upgrade to the current version of VNQM.

End-of-Life (EoL) announcement - Customers on VoIP & Network Quality Manager 4.2 should begin transitioning to the latest version of VoIP & Network Quality Manager.

March 4, 2019:

End-of-Engineering (EoE) - Service releases, bug fixes, workarounds, and service packs for VoIP & Network Quality Manager 4.2 will no longer be supported by SolarWinds.

March 4, 2020:

End-of-Life - SolarWinds will no longer provide technical support for VoIP & Network Quality Manager 4.2.
