UDT 2019.4 offers new features and improvements compared to previous releases of UDT.

New Device Inventory and User Inventory pages

Starting with version 2019.4, SolarWinds UDT introduces two new pages focused on the Help Desk user. The Device Inventory page provides filtering and searching for the port inventory and connected endpoints. With the User Inventory page, you can quickly filter, search for, and review login history for users.

For information about installing User Device Tracker, see the SolarWinds Orion Installer.

How to upgrade

If you are upgrading from UDT 3.31 or later, use the SolarWinds Orion Installer to upgrade your entire Orion deployment (all Orion Platform products and any scalability engines) to the current versions.

If you are upgrading from UDT 3.42, you can upgrade your entire Orion deployment from the My Orion Deployment page. Downloading the Orion Installer is no longer necessary.

If you are upgrading from an earlier version, use this topic to plan and implement an upgrade to the current version of UDT.

3.0, 3.1, 3.2

December 4, 2018:

End-of-Life (EoL) announcement - Customers on UDT versions 3.2 or older should begin transitioning to UDT 3.3.2.

March 4, 2019:

End-of-Engineering (EoE) - Service Releases, bug fixes, workaround, and service packs for UDT version 3.2 or older will no longer be actively supported by SolarWinds.

March 4, 2020:

End-of-Life (EoL) - SolarWinds will no longer provide technical support for UDT version 3.2 or older.
