SRM 6.7.1
Storage Resource Monitor (SRM) 6.7.1 is a service release.
SRM 6.7.1 requires Orion Platform 2018.4.
SRM 6.7
Storage Resource Monitor (SRM) 6.7 includes the following features:
Support for new arrays
This release of SRM adds supports for the additional array types:
- Huawei OceanStor Dorado
- Huawei OceanStor V3/V5 (External Provider)
- Huawei OceanStor V3/V5 (Onboard Provider)
The full list of arrays supported by SRM can be found here.
Additional hardware health monitoring
This release of SRM adds supports for the hardware health monitoring for the following arrays:
- Huawei OceanStor V3/V5
- Huawei OceanStor Dorado V3
- EMC Isilion V8
- NetApp Cluster Mode ONTAP version 9.3 and higher. (To enable NetApp cluster Mode arrays for hardware health monitoring, see What NetApp Cluster Mode permissions are required by Storage Resource Monitor?)
The full list of arrays that support hardware health monitoring can be found in the SRM Administrator Guide here.
End-To-End mapping supported for GPT drives
SRM 6.7 now extends automatic end-to-end mapping (between nodes and storage arrays) to GUID Partition Table (GPT) disks in addition to Master Boot Record (MBR) disks.
For GPT drive information to appear in AppStack, proper poller should poll information for node (default 30 minutes) and also topology job for proper storage array (default 6 hours) has to run. After both of these jobs have run, mapping between node and storage array is created, and all information will be displayed in AppStack for both node and storage array.
