New features and improvements

Kiwi Syslog Server 9.7 offers new features and improvements compared to previous versions of Kiwi Syslog Server.

Log to Database - Bulk Insert action

The Log to Database action can now be performed with a bulk insert option, enabling users to insert several events using only one database call.

Windows 2019 Support

Kiwi Syslog Server now supports Windows Server 2019 for forwarding and receiving messages and events.

Log to Loggly action

Users can now forward logs from Kiwi Syslog Server to Loggly with the ability to monitor, search, react to, and archive messages.

SNMP Spoofing

Users now have the option to spoof SNMP packets so the forwarded message can appear as if it is coming directly from the devices' IP address rather than the Syslog Server address.

Upgrade to NpCap library

SNMP spoofing now uses the NpCap library, replacing the previous WinpCap version. Users will need to uninstall WinpCap and install NpCap to ensure packet spoofing continues to function as intended. See Add an action to send an SNMP trap.

.NET Framework 4.8

Kiwi Syslog Server now supports the Microsoft .NET 4.8 framework for an enhanced user experience.

Send multiple test messages

Kiwi Syslog Server now has the option to generate multiple test messages in the Setup window.
