Kiwi CatTools 3.11.8 Release Notes

These release notes describe the new features, improvements, and fixed issues in Kiwi CatTools 3.11.8. They also provide information about upgrades and describe workarounds for known issues.

Type Details
SSH v1 protocol

As of KCT 3.11.8, releases no longer support the SSH v1 protocol as a device connection method.

Existing devices currently using the SSH v1 protocol will not be affected. However, new devices and new configurations of existing devices will not have the option to use SSH v1.

New features and improvements

Kiwi CatTools 3.11.8 offers new features and improvements compared to previous versions of Kiwi CatTools.

TLS 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 Support

Kiwi CatTools now supports TLS 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 for outgoing email from within the CatTools application, allowing for more secure connections.

00466770 In the Licensor tool, there is a typo in the dialogue box after clicking Restart CatTools.

00619527, 00609353, 00618237, 00618091, 00618091, 00639400, 00639400, 00608907 CatTools_Manager.exe does not properly manage all processes without administration rights, resulting in connectivity issues with the database.
