Access the end user area
End-User accounts are converted from technician profiles. After successfully logging in to the end user area, the end user is directed to the list of computers to which they have access. To perform a remote session to a computer authorized to their account, the End-User should follow these steps:
- If it is the first time accessing the end user area, click the Install Extension button to install the viewer application.
- Click Connect to start a remote session to a computer. During a session, the end user is restricted to the General, Remote Desktop and File Transfer tabs.
- Click the ticket icon next to the relevant computer to generate a support ticket for that computer without establishing a remote session. If the icon is not displayed next to a device, it means that the device is not configured to create Dameware Remote Everywhere deferred support tickets.
- Click Log out to leave the end user area.
