Assign resources to a domain

You can assign a file server, Exchange, or SharePoint resource to a domain. The assignment is useful in a multi-domain environment providing more clarity in the ARM resource view in the ARM application (rich client).

Use drag and drop to make or remove the assignment.

 

The assignment is optional and only makes sense in a multi-domain environment.

 

Resources assigned to a domain are displayed in the ARM application (rich client) only if the corresponding domain is selected.

Resources that have not been assigned to a domain are always displayed in the ARM application, regardless of which domain has been selected by the user.
